You can re-use a course exactly the way you set it up by using it as a course shell. You can copy the course shell as many times as you need once you have all your course content and LTI links set up. You can also copy select LTI links or course components instead of the entire course.
Step 1: The first step is to make sure that you are in your destination course – you start in the course you will be copying items to. Under Course Tools, select Edit Course.
Step 2: Once in the course edit screen, select Import / Export / Copy Components.
Step 3: You must select the master or original course that you want to copy component from. Select the Search for Offering button. Type the name or course number in the search box. If you do not know the number, you can click on the magnifying glass to see a list of courses. Select the course you need, then click Add Selected.
Step 4: You will see the course you selected in the copy screen. You can now choose to import all the course content or select specific items or copy from a parent template, depending on your use case.
Step 5: If you chose the select specific components, you will need to select which items you are bringing over. For LTI links, you will select the radio button next to External Learning Tool Links, then Select Individual Items to Copy.
Please note: This will only bring over LTI links. If you desire to bring over the content structure as well (e.g. the LTI links in place within the course), you will need to check the box for Content in addition to External Learning Tools.
